0905 – From Football Grounds to Soccer Stadiums

146-page book submitted for the MArch at UWE, Bristol.  Titled ‘From Football Grounds to Soccer Stadiums’, the book uses three photographic methods to record the change within and around the game and venues, and the change in experience for fans.

The three methods – aerials, archive and exploration – present differing viewpoints on the game and how the sport links to urban life.  The majority of images used in the book come from an assembled archive of photographs from football matches dating back five decades – giving an opportunity to demonstrate how familiar places have changed over time.

Large format hard-back book (146-pages, 30x30cm, £100) available on request by email.  Small format soft-cover book (120-pages, 18x18cm, £20) available at the Cut Paste and Trace Shop.
