Interiors project concentrating on ‘ambience’.  Following several sketch models using the idea of dappled light created by tree branches, a venue was created with a landscaped floor and a criss-crossed roof structure.  Linear ‘branches’ extend from each corner of the venue, intersecting each other and helping create a distinct geometry which casts irregular patterns of light during the day across the uneven surface below.  Entry is constrained to a tight ramped passage, squeezing the user from the dark towards the ambient lighting.
